I actually almost ended up staying until Sunday, since the service won't be until Saturday afternoon, but I decided not to stress my boss out more than I already have. Also, I got to see Nan while she was alive and still able to know who was there and turn her face to give me a kiss. She passed away 9:30pm (local time) on Wednesday.
Also: I may never need to eat again. OI! I had no idea there were so many wildly different ways to make potato salad.
Also also, I wanted to throttle my cousin A- for her diatribe against how homosexuality is "just wrong" and "really gross" (prompted by something on Passions or whatever soap opera that was). She's also quite the racist. B| Thankfully, I only had to deal with her for the first day. She's back in Tronno now. After that, I started dropping comments about "my best friend and her wife". Random, not-initiated-by-me convos avout vegetarianism and tattoos kept coming up. I have a lot of tattooed women in my family. o_o
