eliyesNormally, at this part of my shift, I am supposed to be glued to me desk chair out by the doors, watching for intruders, and most definitely not dicking about the internet seeking amusement.
However, my desk is not there. Nor is my chair. Same thing goes for my filing cabinet, my trash can, etc.
Because the floor? Is being waxed. So I am offically in here, and while I tried reading some more of Tome of Magic, which was was grooving on during my dinner break, the light in here is a flicky spasmy flourescent, and it started to irk me too much. Lovely book, though.
The telephone is taped to the stairway rail, and the hallway door is propped open so that if it rings I have a better chance of hearing it over the whirring machine noises occasionally coming from where my desk should be.
I am so bored. And sleepy. This isn't good. If you're reading this and it's within 2 or 3 hours of post time? For the love of god, amuse me! *pleads*
ETA: Okay, off to scour the place for nijas and then home. Yay! *hopes not to stick to the waxed floors*
