Research!

I got paid today, and went to the comic store, and bought many many comics. A lot of Titans and JLA back issues, primarily, including JLA Titans #1 (yay! Technis Imperative! Vic returns! Gar looks his age! Titans goodness!), some things missing out of my Titans collection regarding Brother Blood, mostly, and the new issue of The Return of Donna Troy, where Dick is acting like himself for the first time since Devin Grayson got her hands on him.

Research is apace for Ted's heart condition, heart conditions in general, safe sex, male anatomy, the life of a stage actor, and a few other things I want to know for writing some things. *g*

Oh, yeah, you probably already guessed this from reading my journal and whatnot, but I have worked as a stage actor off and on for more years than I'll care to admit. Currently, I teach theatre, and have an MFA in acting, so, if you want any other details about that branch of information you're researching, I'll be happy to help.

I appreciate the offer, and it's pretty likely I'll take you up on it. I have another fic (currently on the back burner) wherein Gar Logan decides to try his hand at a stage career, but I've only acted in school. So far I've gotten questions about auditions, resumés, and portfolios answered... But I am sure i'll think of more when I get back to it. ^.~ I'll bug you about it then!

But you write fic! And I basically just procrastinate about writing anything anymore. So, no-- the coolness is back on you.
