No. My last relationship left such a bad taste in my mouth, I am a bit hesitant to get into another one right now. To be honest, between you and me ( and anyone reading this *lol* ) I wouldn't mind dating a girl right now.

Heh, yeah, I know my preferences re: tattoos and peircings is a weird one. It's just the whole hanging bits of metal from very tearable artificial holes in my skin that makes me go eurgh. But yes, Smaug the Magnificent, from Tolkein's picture of him curling back on himself in flight above the Lonely Mountain. (Whether I will include the Lonely Mountain in this tattoo has yet to be determined. It would make it bicolour and thus more expensive, so I might leave it and possibly add to it later.)

My mum didn't quite pass her horse-madness on to me either - she lives and breathes them, she really does - but I still love riding them.

The comics I would buy would be: lots and lots of Alan Moore, including all the Top Ten spinoffs that he didn't write and the brand-spanking new-coloured version of The Killing Joke; all the Sandman; some Phantom for my dad; and as much Avengers as I can get my hands on. Especially the Marvel Adventures Avengers, because that is like the shiny happy puppy version of the Avengers where no-one ever gets hurt and everyone is best friends with everyone else. After a lot of 616, I need that. Also, the complete Dilbert and Calvin and Hobbes. Huh, you know, I might have some money left over after this imaginary $1000 spending spree to blow on movies. To the DVD store!

I have no idea where my hatred of the word 'quip' stems from, but I get the feeling that it's faintly condescending, like the other words I hate, 'quaint' and 'exotic.'

My mushroom fear is weird and inexplicable. I loved them on toast until I was about four years old, and then suddenly one day I absolutely hated them. I figured this out while chewing, and mushrooms and I have been bitter enemies ever since. These days, I can taste and smell mushrooms with a bizarre hypersensitivity that can make catered breakfasts quite awkward and flat-sharing occasionally hell - I get one whiff, and the stench lingers all day. I get mushroom paranoia. Thus all fungi are, by association, dead to me.

Picture this: a stable where you can take guided tour rides. A young stallion who likes to hold his breath when saddled. A groom who didn't check to see if the strap was tight enough before sticking an unsuspecting teenager on the horse. A mom who slaps her daughter's ride on the rump.

End scene: he took off like a shot; the saddle, with me still in it, slipped around to the bottom of the horse, and it's a good thing he was so tall or I might be headless now.

I haven't actually ridden since then.

Hah, snap! That happened to me when I was eight! Only I was riding alone on a beach and my leg slipped through the stirrup and got trapped at the knee, so I got dragged a mile down the beach by a bolting horse with my head very much in the vicinity of her flailing hooves and all the skin on my back getting scraped off by the sand and... well, let's just say that it took me about a year to (literally) get back in the saddle.
