You know, it would be nice if my subconscious had a better sense of timing. I'm having oral surgery in a month, so what happens today as I am sleeping? Surgery-horror dream. Yep. Attacked by pigeons that no one else could perceive upon entering a hospital room, the doctors decided to remove my brain while they were in there because it's clearly defective. Meanwhile, pigeons continue to painfully dive bomb me, and that cannot be sanitary! I mean, pigeon crap has a Ph of 13, that's enough to blind you instantly if it gets in your eyes! I'm pretty sure having pigeons in the operating room is at least a bad as permanent nerve damage, in the realm of Things That Can Go Wrong In Oral Surgery, and let's not get into them removing my brain.

The worst bit is, I have to go back to sleep now. Somehow.

eta: I've decided to make udon before I sleep because I'm pretty sure I dreamt about udon -- that I didn't get to eat -- and because I can smell bacon coming in the window. Which is a big improvement over what I could smell this time yesterday.

eta2: My surgery has been bumped back a month. We'll see if this affects my subconscious at all.
