backtracking the wily Flanigan
Aug. 28th, 2008 03:15 amI knew that Joe Flanigan had done a short (4 episode) story arc in the show Profiler as a therapist treating the lead chickie's drug addict brother, and a romantic interest. However, having never watched the show, I had no idea that Robert Davi was in it.
For those following along at home, Robert Davi played Acastus Kolya in Stargate: Atlantis, the Genii special ops commander who takes over Atlantis when it's evacuated because of a big storm, tortures McKay and tells Sheppard he killed Weir. He's the one who tormented the team as they searched for a Potentia (ZPM) on Dagan, he's the one who kidnapped Sheppard and fed him bit by bit to a Wraith, and he's the one who took over a village, imprisoning Sheppard's team + Beckett just so he could have a final show down with him.
He's a Nemesis.
And if there's footage of these two actors on the same screen (and there is, or at least scenes together), then there's screencaps, and if there's screencaps, then there's the possibility for photomanips or AU inspiration.
Especially the type of inspiration that ends up on
hewligan, Dr. Tom Arquette winding up in the Pegasus Galaxy, pointing at Kolya and saying "I know you."
