"the boys are really rollin' "
Jul. 11th, 2008 10:10 pmSo my headphones crapped out a while ago -- stopped working in one ear unless the wire was jiggled just so and held there, which is entirely impractical when riding a bus with bad shocks. Anyway, I bought a new pair (the kind that plug into your ear, and does anyone want to speculate on whether this will reduce or increase my incidence of singing along with my iPod?) and they work fine, but you see, I had put a new playlist on my iPod before the old ones went. I had added a bunch of recently-acquired songs, some of which I hadn't listened to on headphones, ever.
So the list gets down to "The Boys in the Bright White Sports Cars" and I start thinking "this sounds strange". I checked to see if I'd inadvertently gotten hold of a cover, but no, it was Trooper.
Then I realised -- it sounded weird because my mom wasn't singing along. XD
