not for kids
Mar. 17th, 2008 03:47 pmToday the roomie and I popped into a new bookstore. I went looking through the young adults fiction (I'm trying to replace my ruined copy of Mad, Mad Monday -- no luck thus far) and picked up 23 Sherlock Holmes stories, two of the Young Wizards books, and The Lightning Thief (which I have just now noticed is the start of a series, but I don't care because reading the dustcover, I am pretty sure I dreamt this book at some point). When the roomie meandered over to see what I was looking at, she found a copy of Age of Bronze: The Thousand Ships.

We had a word with the proprietor. ^^; She thanked us and will put it elsewhere.
