I had a thought

On the ride to work, an Elton John song inspired me to write a Legion fanfic, which got me thinking about Titans, and now I have a theory about what's going on in Robin.

Go figure, eh?

So, the last issue of Robin I read had Darla Aquista (who is dead) looking for Tim. She can make herself look human, but she has weird powers that maker her floaty and pale-skinned and she thinks might make her one of the bad guys.

Now, I don't have all the pertinent issues of Young Justice where what Secret really is is explained, but I know she was killed by her brother and that's how she got her powers. Which involved floaty ghostliness, and apparently she's supposed to be an incarnation of death... And she rejected it. I know Spectre was involved somehow, but Darkseid was the one who took her powers away and left her a normal, living human girl.

What the hell does Darkseid have to do with, I want to know.

And is this something like the Spectre, where there always is one? Is Darla the new Secret?

Or some other playing piece in the chaotification of magic in the DCU?
