Oh, by the way --

FarScape is suspiciously loveable. I saw like 45 minutes of the miniseries on the flight North? And yeah. I have been a researching, YouTube hounding fiend ever since.

*removes something that was here!* >D

Oh, hell, watch it yourself! It's at the end of this awesome video. Crackers don't matter! *crazed laughter*

Apathocles, I blame AND thank you. :3

Haven't I espoused to you my love of FARSCAPE before?? (points at icon)

God knows I've been trying to get her to watch it for ages. I even linked her to a Scorpy/Braca/Sikozu OT3 vid of awesome! *pointed glare in eli's direction*

I did watch that vid.
It actually gave me a nightmare, mind, but I watched it.

Hint: None of those characters were the key to getting me to watch FS. John was.

I loved John in the beginning.

By the fourth season? I wanted to slam his face into the wall. Repeatedly. And Aeryn was completely unrecognisable, characterisation-wise. :(

Granted, I never liked J/A -- was one of the few people in the fandom who didn't 'ship them together -- but I liked the characters on their own. The later seasons did them no justice whatsoever. The miniseries actually reverted them back to their former selves somewhat, but that caused its own set of problems, because it made no sense for them to revert to their former characterisation. Sigh.

(... Can you tell that I'm not very fond of the last season or so? *g* There were some absolutely fabulous stand-alone eps, but as far as general coherency went... not so much.)

Hee, sorry. And dude, Scorpius is one of my all-time favourite villains. Very much operates within a moral grey area. And Braca... well, he is known as the Smithers to Scorpy's Burns. Canonically. On multiple occasions. And there are leashes and chains and leather involved. XD

(Far as I'm concerned, the Scorpy/Braca canon of awesome is the best thing about the fourth season, hands down. *g* It probably won't surprise you to learn that [livejournal.com profile] andrastewhite converted me over to TF fandom by playing on my love of Scorpy/Braca in order to get me interested in Starscream/Megatron. ;) )

This is like how I love The Sentinel but the characterization post-cancelling-and-brought-back goes right to shit, and also the anthropologist aspect NEVER WORKS. Or how SGA has problems whenever the head writer writes McKay, etc etc. insert any series here.

Scorpius does seem interesting (even though he's a gimp in a codpiece XD), but I get Braca and Stark mixed up.

Yes, I think so, something about that quiz I took that said I should be on the crew of the Moya, but I had only seen part of an episode once on YTV and, well, hated it.

Also, I had no clue your icon was connected. I actually wondered what it was aobut, but never checked.
