My subconscious is apparently convinced that if Brickhouse (from Milestone's Blood Syndicate) and Empress (from DC's Young Justice) met, they would get along great. Hell, maybe Anita can use her magic to do something about Marta's amnesia...
My subconscious also stuck me in an extended heart-pounding subtarranean chase scene with ATF versions of the Magnificent 7 (TV show version). I'm pretty sure I was Ezra Standish for part of it.
But the best part, the absolute best part, was my brain going "YOU HAVE JUST FOUND AN AWESOME AND VERY LONG AU FICTION ABOUT ZAX AND CLOUD AS PART OF AN INTERGALACTIC PEACEKEEPING ORGANIZATION OF SOLDIERS AND LAWMEN AND BOUNTY HUNTERS--" oh fuck it looked SO COOL, so I bookmarked it --
