To AO3 or not to AO3, that is the question.

I'm thinking of making an account on Archive of Our Own and reposting all my fanfics there. I have some reservations about the Organization for Transformative Works, however, primarily to do with the attitudes of their philosophy and some of the things they've been in favour of which I am not. I'm reading over the FAQ and associated information before I make a decision, but if any of you want to weigh in with personal experiences with the AO3, I would welcome your insight.

I've found it very hard to navigate. I'm sticking with LJ and possibly going back to FFN.

Yeah, poking around had me thinking they need to do soemthing about the navigation, too, although I'm really not sure what. I think I'll wait until they're out of beta and see if it's improved any before I make a decision.

I've got it bookmarked for future consideration, but I don't even crosspost on LJ much -- I don't think I could keep up with yet another presence in any meaningful way. However, do let me know what you decide to do, and why.

I have an account at the archive, but I only intend to use it as a digital back-up in case something happens to LJ or I do something stupid.
I don´t think of it as "serious", in a way, and have thus not given much thought to it.

and, technologically speaking, there´s still some wonky stuff around.
