quick pre-work ramble.
Okay.
I bought Alpha Flight back issues. And I ended up with the one with Jeanne-Marie's origin (she used her powers the first time when she was trying to commit suicide ;_; And then Wolverine scouted her), the introduction of Scramble, the ish where Snowbird dies, and the ish where Walter comes back in Snowbird's body (well - actually he comes back in Smart Alec's body, and Snowbird's body comes back possessed by Pestilence, and so Walter possesses the Box robot body to fight it, and then into Snowbird's body but ALAS, THAT IS ALL I DIGRESSION) and turns outto be a chick, because dude, it's a chick's body.
And there was lots of "oh noes the twins can't touch or their powers cancel out" and "oh noes Northstar has a wound that won't close and also he is koffing and then Pestilence kissed him and made his whatever disease speed up oh noes!" wailing. But the end result?
I want to write a story where Jeanne-Marie and Bobby Drake are trapped in a cave somewhere for a few hours. ;_; THIS MAKES NO SENSE. Note: Jeanne-Marie, not the Aurora (read: slut) personality. Why? Bcause I think they actually have a lot in common. Also, the look on Northstar's face when they are found would be PRICELESS!! (and if Hank and/or Walter are also there, there will scooping up into big furry hugs of OMGYOUREALIVEJOY! whichis always good. :)
