Blink in surprise, dig out kitten, check kitten over, possibly put kitten in his pocket.

Depends on who he's got with him (more swimming with Zero, frex) but probably just enjoy himself. Possibly more hiking than entirely reasonable.
• their most fabulous moment in canon
*cackle* For given values of "fabulous", attending a very important formal event in the most hideous shirt he could find. The sleeves were made of rainbow ruffles, the body was red with a deep v-neck and lots of beading, Alia was horrified, it was awesome.
• what they'd sing at karaoke (and how they'd do)
X is a good singer, no surprise there, and loves music, so he'd probably do pretty well. He'd tend towards the goofier choices of classic rock to perform for friends.
• what they think about in the shower
Probably checks his email while he washes up, benefits of doing all that in your head. Otherwise coding, engineering problems he's chewing on, everybody's schedules for the day; if there's something stressing him out, like an ongoing problem for the Hunters, he'll try NOT to think about it in the shower.
• what they'd do if someone appeared claiming to be their kid from the future
Sit them down with coffee and snacks and a 83 expression and interrogate them about his future children's specs. (How the HELL am I getting this wing configuration to work?)

• what kind of hobbies they have
Ironically the people at his various jobs probably consider his other jobs to be hobbies (Hunter, CEO, engineer). He's a geek for old movies and old music, likes going to small-venue rock concerts, plays various tabletop RPGs, drinks with his friends on occasion, enthusiastically eats the culinary offerings of his family, occasionally lazes in a biodome just to chill, finds new and exciting ways to make Alia despair over his taste in formal clothing....

He's an artificial person, nothing is natural; that's just logic. Though that's his original hair colour, yes.

Currently Not Dead! Has in past gotten better from Nearly Dead, though not as often as Zero.

I feel like he may have loaded my dice...

Let's face facts: James probably put the kitten there himself. This is a man who attacks people with pudding, mostly to distract them from the way he's an easily-bored world-class con artist with a genius for off-the-wall inventions. So it'll depend on what purpose he put the kitten there for, and probably involve a humorous dance. (Whereas if a kitten just crawled up the leg of his shorts when he was preoccupied, he'd probably just fish it out with a little grumbling, set it out of the way with a "No", and carry on.)
• what they'd do if sent on a multi-week camping trip
Ignoring how very low the possibility of James obeying anyone trying to "send him" anywhere -- well, I guess he was in the FBI for a while, so it isn't totally impossible -- it depends on if he has company. If he has company, COMPLAIN INCESSANTLY and/or behave in a manner befitting his latest trick. If he's on his own, he'll probably be pretty okay. He grew up a carnie, he's got experience living rougher than most settled folk are used to, and it would be a decent opportunity to catch up on his reading and plot new plots.

*blows out a hard breath* So many choices.... He beat the devil at his own game. Literally. More than once.
• what they'd sing at karaoke (and how they'd do)
Oh, dear God. Uhhhh... he's totally shameless and a complete ham. He'll sing anything, and he'll chew up the stage and probably do terrible things with tune and tempo and vibrato and volume while he's at it. He could probably also perform a surprisingly sincere rendition of any given old-fashioned cowboy song.

Best not to speculate, really.

Bear hug, followed by a number of zany-seeming tests to verify the claim.

Ah, yes, Billy. Saved him from religious assassins (managed to drag Piper into it), iirc.
• what kind of hobbies they have
What he does for his Rogues stuff is so varied that it's hard to tell where research and activity solely for enjoyment meet, but his interest in the Old West seems to be the thing that is most purely just for enjoyment.
• if their hair color is natural and how I know
A blond Italian seems against stereotype, doesn't it? And sometimes he has dark eyebrows, but I think the fact that he was blond in the flashbacks to his childhood are the best indicator we have that he's probably a natural sunshine-top. Or else has a lifelong dedication to the colour.
• if this character is dead, and if so, if they can get better
I have no idea if he's kicking in the latest reboot of the universe, but last time I read before shit changed, he was dead, but there were like 4 ways Rogues fans could think of to easily change that -- including the fact that his son is the earthly avatar of a god of life/love/light. That one's usually my favourite.

Swearing (he'll try to keep it to an era-appropriate language if he has an audience, depending on where tiny needle claws might go) and wriggly attempts to remove said kitten.

Brush up on old survival skills and field test new technological advances in camping gear. Possibly bury/dig up loot.

Brad Paisley's "Mr. Policeman" ( https://youtu.be/olivCAvAsBo ) especially if Matthew is there to hear it. ;3 As for how he'd do, he'd be okay. I headcanon that Corey has a decent singing voice but is better at keeping to the tune with practice, so the longer/more often he's sung something correctly, the more likely he is to do so.

Survival, money, charity, the weird fads in personal hygiene he's lived through, what he's gonna do that day, larger philosophical questions, the latest book he's read, etc.

Humour them enough to find out how they supposedly traveled back in time.

If they claim to have been adopted by him, try to remember them (but remain skeptical). If they claim to be the child of his flesh, explain about lifelong sterility and how sometimes parents lie (but remain wary).

Oh man. "Avoiding the Game" and "robbing the rich to give to the poor" probably count as vocational work, so... everything else, really!

Everyone is very disturbed that Bart has one hand down his shorts and appears to be cooing babytalk into them.

Probably very little actual camping, unless someone sat him down beforehand about a) that time Wally gave himself the bends constantly running off to hero when he and Hartley were meant to be mountain climbing as a bonding experience, and b) the long standing Titans campfire cookout tradition. Although you could suitably engage him if there's a cowboy theme involved.

I'm going with when he first showed up, because seeing him bust into the 20th century on the cover of Flash was the reason I started buying a DC ongoing title for the first time (as opposed to backbin hunting of Titans).

Let's just acknowledge how this would either take a lot of explaining and persuasion to make happen, or else none at all. He'd probably choose a song he knows at random. As for how he'd do, well, if it's anything like the time he taught himself to play guitar after. he took the stage at a rock concert, really weird and terrible at first, rapidly transitioning to actually pretty good. (Okay, maybe not so terrible, he knows how to use his voice for speaking which is ahead of where he was with the guitar!)
• what they think about in the shower
OMG the shower must be SO FRUSTRATING to Bart, though. The water droplets take so long to fall! The soap lathers funny if you're not careful! I mean, we see him in the shower now and then but despite the potential splashing I feel baths are the way to go for Bart. Other than that I honestly won't speculate what he thinks aobut because is mind moves so fast and his life is so strange he'd cover so much ground... except video games are probably a frequent topic.
• what they'd do if someone appeared claiming to be their kid from the future
Shrug and offer them a sandwich.

Ask them if they know how he or their other parent got sent to the past in order for that to happen. (Look, time travel is just super common in his family and life.)

Well, video games, obviously. He is actually really keen on cowboy stuff. Also Elvis. He's a massive clotheshorse, so clothing. Tasting food from around the world(s), sometimes against his will (see: the sushi fight). Playing the guitar. Reading a huge variety of topics once he realises that's a thing. Just hanging out with people he likes. He was on a baseball team (Wally despairs -- Linda and Hartley corrupted him somehow, he knows it).

They changed him from chestnut brown to reddish at one point and while that was probably a colorist ... issue, honestly, he mighta dyed it. He did shave his ehad and get a wig made to look like his regular hairdo at one point (to reduce drag, except his hair grew back too fast to really make it worthwhile. Oh, Bart. ♥) His dad (and his dad's twin sis) and his cousin were/are redheads, so he might do that. Pretty sure the brown that looks just like his mom's is the natural one, he had it the longest adn also during his childhood flashbacks. *shrug*

I don't know what they might be doing with him now, if anything, but he has recovered from death before.
