SGA 5.13: "Inquisition"

:D Seriously?

That is not how I expected that to go down.

Also, something that occurred to me a little while ago: on screen, the cast boggled that Woolsey brought a huge wooden conference table with him to Atlantis. Off screen, I would bet money that the cast cheered, considering all the bitching about the furniture that used to be in that room done in commentaries and interviews.

I kept expecting Q to show up towards the beginning, after I saw the previews. Is it bad that I giggled when Woolsey used the word "federation" to describe the new alliance?

I liked it. Although I must say, the visual similarity to Boston Legal when Woolsey and Sheppard were drinking and smoking while looking over the city was eerie.

No. I giggled when Rodney immediately followed that with a comment about Star Trek, so we're even. ;3

I've never watched Boston Legal, but I laughed during the entire thing. XD

Ah, Boston Legal. I don't watch it a whole lot, but it's not unusual for an episode to end with the characters of attorneys Alan Shore and Denny Crane chatting together while looking over the city at night, drinking a glass of something alcoholic and smoking cigars. And, of course, it doesn't help the sci-fi connection that the two characters are played by James Spader (aka movie!Daniel Jackson) and William Shatner. XD

Ah! James Spader. That would be why I don't watch it right there. (Although I think I saw a clip of Shatner in it once, because... Shatner! :D)
