Star Trek TOS fanfic: "Taste of Home"

One of the things I like in the TOS books I've been reading is how Sulu and Uhura keep trying to get Chekov to be more adventurous in terms of what he eats, and him wriggling out of all the time (to their great amusement). But hell, they're willing to experiment themselves, into areas more familiar to him...

Since I'm tellin' y'all about things that make me cry, I must confess that not even "A Simple Country Doctor" and "Remember Bones" combined have the power over me to be found in "A Frog and His Boy". It's Kermit singing about missing Jim Henson, and it's fucking heartbreaking.
