Wow! Whereas my parents were in the Army when I was young, so I've lived on both coasts and a few points in between. Maybe that's why I thought of it.

I was a little surprised by the family's house in Guadalajara, though. In the flashbacks int hat same issue, it seemed to be more of a ranch-type-affair, but no, it's right in the city, lots of houses around it and above it. (Hilly place, apparently...)
